Accuracy - choice of appropriate words, use of correct punctuation marks, accurate spellings, correct syntax and grammar, etc. =3 marks

TOPIC 1: A SPEECH

The candidate is expected to present a speech to sensitise schoolmates about the coronavirus on the occasion of Youth Week celebrations. S/He has to explain what the coronavirus is, give the different means of transmission, the symptoms and how it can be prevented. The candidate will also say what they would do if they contracted the virus.

TOPIC 2: A FORMAL LETTER

The candidate is expected to write a letter of complaint to the Senior Divisional Officer of their community in which s/he presents the lack of infrastructure in their community, the consequences of the lack of basic facilities and their importance to the community.
